The hotel features a distinctive historical and cultural corner, as well as an interesting simulation exhibition of fishing boat life. The rooms and public dining area are surrounded by picturesque scenery, filled with sunshine, making people feel comfortable, warm, and happy. Although the hotel does not have an elevator, they have arranged rooms closest to the parking spaces, which is very friendly for those of us with only carry-on suitcases. The nights are quiet, and even during the midnight sun, we still enjoy a good and comfortable sleep.

The hotel is located on the fjord, the view from the windows unforgettable. Room very comfortable and bigger than I expected, beds very comfortable. From the hotel there is an underground passage to the restaurant, very interesting, with wax figures representing history. The restaurant where breakfast was served was beautiful, with a terrace facing the pier overlooking the fjord. The breakfast was very good, fresh local produce and finally bread that is not "toast" :)

There is a lot to say about this location. It is exceptionally worth a visit. The hotel is very good, the location excellent. The hotel has a museum which is worth seeing even 2 times, that you can understand everything. The staff is very friendly and provides useful information, especially if you want to get around the area. Nearby there are several places worth seeing. I recommend Petra, about 1 hour away, especially for people passionate about geology.

Unusual hotel but nice. Check in/lobby is across the street from the hotel. Lobby is part of a museum and staying at the hotel gets you free admission. The actual lobby building was a doctors home - restored - and the hotel is the hospital restored. Our room had a deck the opened out to a water view. Unfortunately, while there the weather was rain and fog. The evening dinner and breakfast at the hotel were excellent.

Very quirky hotel..we have stayed here before, so we knew what it was like. Staff very friendly..bedroom lacked room for suitcases..ok if you only have one suitcase..no room to put things in the bathroom…small shower head bracket was broken so had to use the larger shower. Lovely display of northern lights and we seen a seal from our bedroom window. Good breakfast.
